Katsina LGAs Holds Review Meeting For Concluded ITN Distribution

Katsina, Jibia, Charanchi and Ingawa Local Government Areas in Katsina State have held debriefing meetings for the recently concluded ITN distribution exercise.
Katsina Post who monitored the exercise in the LGAs, reported that the aimed of the meeting held on 21st March is to review success and identify problems during the ITN distribution exercise
Katsina Post observed that the meeting held the LGAs was led by the head of local government and attended by council health officials and other stakeholders.
In Jibia, during the meeting the stakeholders identified insecurity as stake that prevents house to house distribution of the nets.
Katsina Post learnt in other to get the ITNs distributed, a special centre was created at District Head Palace, and PHC to allow the beneficiaries to collect the nets.
However the stakeholders in Charanchi, Ingawa, and Katsina observed that the ITN distribution exercise went smoothly except of some complaints received that the nets were in adequate to cover the desired number of families in some household.
