Ethics Policy
Katsina Post has ethical policies that guide us as we deliver news and information in a rapidly changing media environment. We consider these guidelines to be a “living document” that we will continually modify and update based on feedback from our journalists, from our readers, and from our perceptions of our changing needs.
We work with strict regards to our immediate environmental cultural and religious peculiarities. We avoid gifts or gratifications from news sources. We accept no free trips. We neither seek nor accept preferential treatment that might be rendered because of the positions we hold.
However, we do accept payment for services rendered to governments, government-funded organizations, non-governmental organizations, private individuals, groups of government officials, political groups, or organizations.
We also enjoined our staff to jealously guard their reputation both online and offline.
