Comptroller of Immigration Service Congratulates Chairman of Interior Committee on His Turbaning as Dujiman Katsina

The Comptroller General of the Nigeria Immigration Service, KN Nandap, pcc, fsm, mmis, in her congratulatory message, described the coronation of Abdullahi Aliyu Ahmad, Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Interior, who represents the Musawa/Matazu Federal Constituency in the Green Chamber. She stated that he has earned this prestigious chieftaincy title in recognition of his contributions not only to his Federal Constituency and Katsina State, but to Nigeria in general. His efforts have undoubtedly left an indelible mark that will be celebrated.

The Comptroller General of Immigration Service was represented by DCGI Passport and other Travel Documents, M T Umar, at the turbaning ceremony of Hon. Abdullahi Aliyu who was turbaned alongside the present Deputy Governor, Farouk Jobe, as Sarkin Fulani Jobe, and Jabir Tsauri, Chief of Staff of the Katsina State Governor, as Lamidon Katsina. All three were crowned by the Emir of Katsina, Dr. Abdulmumini Kabir Usman.

The DCGI, who was accompanied by the Comptroller of the Katsina State Command, CIS Mohammed Adamu Mahmoud, pcc, fcilrm, cna, and several management staff, attended this historic event that took place on September 21st at the Emir's Palace in Katsina. Also described Hon. Abdullahi's coronation as a recognition of his innumerable contributions to society and his unwavering commitment to the people. He also thanked and appreciated the efforts of the Comptroller of the Immigration Service, Katsina State Command.

Among those who graced the occasion were the Katsina State Governor, former Governor of Katsina State Alhaji Aminu Masari, Members of the National Assembly, Members of the State House of Assembly, and other dignitaries from across the nation.
